One of the things I do outside of writing BP fics is run a literary magazine. It’s been my baby for the last six years. I’m proud to say we were founded by a black woman (me!) and fully staffed by black women. While we don’t publish writers of color exclusively, our aim is to continue to be gatekeepers that allow writers of color a fair shot at their work being understood and published.
We are always looking to read poetry, short fiction, and creative non-fiction. We even take occasional art/photography and book reviews. If you have a creative project that you want to share with us, feel free to reach out and we’ll see what we can come up with.
