8 and tyrell siblings?

thenoblehouseofdayne:

Loras and Margaery were watching you as you played with the edge of your skirt, delaying for as long as you could.

“Sister, why are we here?” Margaery asked, her eyes as soft and perceptive as always, noting your clear nerves and lack of candor.

“I think I’m pregnant.” You spoke all at once, words blending together as you spit out the confession you’d been harboring for weeks.

Loras’ immediate reaction was rage, his protective instincts surging to blame your lover, a knight who’d been loyal to the Tyrell for years had defiled his baby sister and left her with child and without a ring, and to him, this was unacceptable. “Where is he? I’ll kill him.”

Margaery’s was one of momentary shock, before she swallowed it, moving to control her brother. “That won’t help anything, Loras. It’s done now, killing him will only cause more strife. We’ll have to think of what to tell Grandmother.”

You watched with mild nausea, seeing the wheels already beginning to turn in their brains.

“Y/N, how did this happen?”

“I love him, Loras. When he asked to take me to bed, I had no reason to say no.” Your eyes were downcast. “He’s not noble, but I love him.”

Margaery was quick to embrace you. “Sweet sister, your tender heart has imperiled you yet again. We promise, you’ll be fine.”

Loras, with cooling anger, nodded in agreement. It wasn’t ideal, but you were family, and nothing could change that.

You and your sister Lyanna were in the armory, examining your brother Brandon’s new jousting armor, emblazoned with the sigil of the wolf on glimmering steel.

Lyanna was the first to speak. “It’s so clean and unattended…” her eyes drifted over to you, devilment clear in her eyes. “It would be a shame if someone tampered with it. So embarrassing for Brandon, if his armor didn’t fit quite right.”

You nodded, crossing your arms. “Especially if that Tully girl saw him, he’d be pure raging.” Reaching forward and unlatching an arm-guard, you tucked it in the folds of your dress, along with the helmet and accompanying sword. By the end, you’d left half a set of armor in the armory, and the other half on top of Ned’s bed.

The trap was laid, but the next part was trickier.

You were waiting in the armory when Brandon arrived, cursing and searching the room for the missing pieces and finding you instead.

“Y/N, where did you put my armor?”

“I didn’t touch it. I know who did though.” You extended a hand and lead him out into the center of the courtyard, pointing up to the open window, where Ned was examining a lovely steel blade, the same color as Brandon’s breastplate.

Brandon’s expression grew murderous. “I’ll go fetch it then.”

He disappeared into the castle, and a few moments later, you could hear the shouting from the second story.

“-I didn’t take it! I don’t know how it-”

“Choke and die!”

Taking Lyanna’s hand and shaking it in a celebratory way, you examined the havoc you’d created for your brothers. That’ll teach them what throwing snowballs in the morning yields.

Do You Love Him?

Masterlist

Pairing: Mac x Reader

Summary: Based
off of the episode is Smallville where Lois and Clark fake being
engaged, then get kidnapped and Lois admits that she’s in love with
Clark. Watch the video/scene here.

Side Note: I
love Smallville so much, it’s probably one of my favourite TV Shows of
all time. So I remembered this moment between Lois and Clark, and I
wanted to do a similar version but centered around Mac x Reader.

Also thank you to @freddykrueger-clifford for sharing her opinion on the imagine and whether or not I should post it. x

“Nope, no way. It’s too dangerous man”. Jack shook his head and disagreed with the proposed plan that you and Mac put forth to the team.

Mac
had his arms crossed and gave you a quick glance, the only one who
didn’t like the plan was Jack and already stated the long list of
reasons why. “There are a million ways this plan could fall apart”, he turned to Matty. “And
I can’t believe you agreed to this, I mean come on Matty let’s just
storm the place and arrest the guy. Easy as pie and we can be off
sipping drinks at the bar right after”.

Bozer chuckled in the background and Matty shot Jack a cold hard stare.
“I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear any of that, Jack. This plan is our
best bet to not only catch this guy, but to also get a confession, so
we’re doing it!”.

Mac stepped forward to grab a few paperclips and started to bend them together. “If anything goes wrong you’ll be there as backup. Jack, we’re running out of time and this is the only way, you know that, man”.

Everyone turned their attention to Jack who looked fairly annoyed with the circumstances. “But why do you guys have to pretend to be engaged, that’s just weird…isn’t it?”.

You
shifted uncomfortably in the corner. Working closely with Mac, being on
stake-outs, going undercover, all those things gave you more time to
develop more than friendship feelings. Not only that, but there had been
a few moments shared that made you question if there was a chance that
the feeling was mutual.

Bozer spoke up from where he was standing, “If anyone can pretend to be engaged it’s them two, I mean they act particular married already”.

Mac nervously starched the back of his neck, “Thanks Boz, I think. So now that we have established this plan is a go, we need to get going”.

“I’m still not liking this, man”.
Jack commented while everyone followed Mac out the door, expect Riley
and Matty who were going to be surveilling the whole thing from the
Phoenix.

Walking down the street, each step made towards the
store was that much closer to having to put on your best “this is my
fiancé” act. Mac being the gentleman that he was opened the door, and a
medium sized man dressed in dark navy suit greeted the two of you.

“Hello, how may I assist the two of you today?”. He asked, perhaps a little too cheerful.

Mac’s hand slipped in yours causing a skip of the heart. He gave a light squeeze and happily smiled. “My fiance and I were looking for some wedding bands”. Oh,
how you wished this was real and not made up for some mission.

Putting
on your best game face, you moved in closer to Mac and placed a hand on
his chest. “Something simple but yet elegant”, you added.

The
man walked on over to a display case and pointed too, two beautiful
silver bands, one being the women’s which was surrounded by little
diamonds all the way around. “If you really wanted to add some
elegance to the man’s wedding band, we can have any small description
engraved, just to give it a more personal touch”.

Mac’s hand was still in yours and it felt right, like perhaps it was made just solely for you. “What do you think, sweetheart?”.

“I think they’re both beautiful, I love them”.

The
guy observed you and Mac intently as you looked at the other bands, but
untimely the two of you chose the first ones that were shown.

Exiting
the store, if the pattern was consistent and right, the guy would be
coming to kidnap two happily engaged couples, in this case that was you
and Mac.

“You’ve never called anyone sweetheart before, have you?”, turning to Mac who lightly laughed.

“Was it that obvious?”,
he replied while scoping the area for any sign of the man. The parking
lot wasn’t far and from the corner of your eye, as you were walking up
the ramp you saw Jack waiting to nail this guy.

Mac pulled
out the keys and the next thing you knew everything went black, with
Jack running as fast as he could screaming both your names.

Waking
up, you groaned and tried to move. However being tied to a chair
constricted movement and any chance of escape. Mac was sitting right
opposite you, he was already awake and mouthed that it’ll be okay.

The
guy from the jewellery store entered from a side door. From your best
guess, it was some kind of basement or an old warehouse. Around your
waist a big metal belt which connected to the ones on your wrist, they
all were leading to another big machine across the room, where the
jewellery guy was standing.

You swallowed when the realization hit that it was a lie detector.

“We know who you are, we have agents on their way. You might as well let us go”. Mac tried to negotiate.

The guy unmasked himself. “Not until I finished what I started. Now, let’s get begin”. Walking over, in his hand was a small device with two buttons on top. “Marriage
is something that shouldn’t be rushed into, so many people do and end
up not knowing who they’ve really married. So many secrets and lies are
told. Well, not if I can help it. This is a test, one that is going to
see how much you two have been hiding from one another”.
He rolled over a chair and sat down beside you. “Ladies first, have you ever cheated on your
fiancé?“.

Staring at Mac, your worry levels were increasing. Taking a calm breath, you responded to his answer. “No, don’t be ridiculous”. Acting offended at his question.

The
lines on the paper started to waver and the guy sighed, in the next
second Mac screamed out in pain as his chair lit up with electricity.

“Stop it!. Please stop, you’re hurting him!”. Pleading desperately.

He pressed the button and the electric shock stopped. “No, your lies are”. He stated harshly, kicking back the chair with his back legs and charged the electricity once more via the handle. “I’m trying to save both of you from unnecessary pain in the future”.

“Okay,
okay. It was one time but listen here, were not actually together.
We’ve never dated, so this test doesn’t mean anything”.

He ignored your confession and turned. “Next question. Do you love this man?”,
his eyes were on you and so were Mac’s. You couldn’t look at either of
them, and that prompted him to ask again with a little more force. “Do you love him?.

“It’s okay, just tell the truth, I’ll be fine”. Mac reassured.

The man marched over, inching his face closer to yours. “Do.you.love.him?”. He asked once more.

Finally looking straight at Mac with tears forming in your eyes, you shakily whispered. “Yes”.

Mac
jumped expecting an electric surge to come through, when he didn’t his
mouth gaped open and he focused his glance on you. Looking slowly away
after a few seconds, not being able to bear his expression. The man
walked on over to the lie detector and announced, “She told the truth. Now it’s your turn”, he spun around to face Mac. “Do you love this women?”.

Moving
his mouth to answer, he reconsidered and with one quick movement Mac
took the opportunity to uncuff himself from the restraints, grabbed the
guy’s hand and head butted him. Punching the guy to the ground, his only
concern was you. Rushing over he got out his trusty pocket knife and
untied the cuffs.

“Are you okay?”, he helped you up and all you manged to do was nod. Mac held onto you just as the door
burst

open and Jack stormed in with backup. They roughly took the guy away and Jack made his way over.

“You
guys did a good job, in saying that I’ll feel a whole lot better if the
two of you got checked over by a medic, there’s one outside
. He clapped Mac on the back and gave you a small smile. “Come on let’s get out of here“.

While getting checked out by the paramedic, Mac joined you. Whispering a faint thank you to the medic, he left the scene.

“How you holding up?”, he gently asked.

“I’m a bit shaken, but that comes with the job”.

He took the empty seat, touching your wrist. Your eyes followed his finger as it brushed over the red marks the cuffs left. “I never meant for-”.

“It’s okay, Mac. We knew there was a possibility something like this would happen, I knew what I was getting into”. However, that was a lie. Never did you imagine some lunatic would force you to confess your love for Mac.

“About what he asked”. He paused, taking a minute to recollect his thoughts.“Was the lie detector right, do you love me?”.

Looking
down, you were transported back to that exact flashback. Mac’s surprise
expression still etched in your memory. Making sure Mac didn’t see, you
struggled but managed to display a somewhat fake smile on your face.

“I fooled him. Just before he asked the question I slipped the lie detector cable off my finger”. Your heart ached telling such a bold lie, but for now it was for the best.

“That-that was quite smart of you”. He stuttered. “I’m glad you’re okay”, he added.

“I’m glad you’re okay too, Mac”.

This
wasn’t how you were suppose to tell Mac you loved him. It wasn’t
suppose to be at the hands of someone else. And now you feared, because
of your lie, that you’d never be able to correct that mistake.
