Republicans in 2016 sealed our fate for having the first of what will now be two fascist SCOTUS appointees by blocking Obama from moving forward with Garland. That was one of the biggest miscarriages of justice I have ever witnessed and somehow it proceeded with very little push back.
Y’all this is very, very bad. I don’t know what else to say. I feel sick.
If fucking republicans in 2016 can claim that a presidential election on the horizon is a good enough reason to NOT CONFIRM a sitting president’s SCOTUS nominee, I’m going to need Dems to grow a fucking backbone and REFUSE to participate in confirmations from a nominee of a president who has ample reason to be IMPEACHED. Fucking hell.
